Somerset EuCAN Volunteers

A programme of activities is available here – please contact us if you would like to be included in the regular emailing list. Contact us if you would like to be added to sharing list for the EuCAN Google calendar.

The EuCAN Somerset Volunteers have been out on regular tasks since the group was absorbed into EuCAN from the BTCV in March 2014. We aim to run a weekly schedule of activities every Tuesday through the year. These are held in south Somerset and on sites in north and west Dorset. Latest photos from our recent visit to The Magdalen Centre to clear their pond are to be found on this link and news of other activities this year can be found hereclick photos to enlarge and to improve focus.

We are always on the look-out for new volunteers – there are so many potential benefits.

For you – good healthy exercise in beautiful places,

and for the wildlife and habitats around us – we work in woodland, grassland, wet places and downland to improve the environment for nature and of course for ourselves.
